WHY bigVAULT?

What is bigVAULT?

BigVAULT is an all-inclusive Storage Service Provider offering web-based storage in the form of a "DIGITAL SAFE DEPOSIT VAULT" through our BV-OFS (Online File System) technology. Our business model is to provide a "serious" amount of secure storage for a modest fee and to continuously offer the most advanced and useful features to our subscribers. It is a private multi-level password protected storage area on the Internet where all your data files, software, documents, images, videos and music can be stored and backed up. So you and anyone you authorize as a visitor can access information in one convenient place, that's fully secure, totally private and entirely confidential.

How does BigVAULT work?

When you sign-up you create and choose a "main-Vault" name and password. When you login to your main vault, you can then create sub-vaults or "folders". You can upload documents, and multiple files, etc by simply using your browser. These documents can be viewed, moved, copied, downloaded, deleted, renamed and more! You can even send a "vault-mail" with a date and time stamped access code that limits the number of times an item may be viewed by a visitor.

What makes BigVAULT so unique?

In addition, to being the easiest and most seamless way to store and share everything from data files to video clips.... your Vault will soon come with “Online Office” features such as calendaring, contacts, messaging, and notepad. But perhaps the most powerful and innovative function of BigVAULT is our proprietary "DateTimeLock©" Function. This distinctive features gives the users the ability to assign visitor passwords and setup "date/time" rights for these passwords. In other words, as the Vault owner, you can make certain files and/or sub-vaults accessible by whom and for how long you desire.

Once you become a Vault member, you can setup a Main-vault. Let's call it, "MYVAULT".

From there, you can create unlimited Sub-Vaults and sub-sub-vaults. For example, Business, Software, My Documents, Personal, Sports, Friends, Music, etc. Every sub-vault you create can have its own unique password. Suppose you want to allow a friend access to all the files in your Business sub-vault. Assign the Business sub-vaults a password. That password can be indefinite or set up with an effective date and expiration date, and each password can be set up with optional Visitor upload rights. Tell your friend your Main Vault name and his visitor password. From the Login page, your friend logs in as a visitor. He will only be able to access the “Business” sub-vault for as long as you extended the password expiration dates and time. How long will an item stay in my Vault?

For as long as you want it to. An item is only removed if you delete it. If an item has a password with an expiration "date/time" stamp, I the password will automatically terminate upon the assigned expiration date and time.

Do I have to download any software?

No! You do not need to download any software to create or use your vault. Also, you can "ACCESS YOUR VAULT FROM ANYWHERE AT ANYTIME".
