Which web browsers are supported?  -Top-

bigVAULT currently supports Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 and above, Netscape 4.7x on Windows, Unix and Linux.

Which Java Virtual Machine is supported?  -Top-

bigVAULT currently supports Microsoft Virtual Machine and Java Virtual Machine for Netscape version 4.7.x

Can I use FTP, WebDAV or Web Folders to upload and download files from my account?  -Top-

No, at this time bigVAULT supports HTTPS uploads only.

Are there any upload or download limits imposed on my account?  -Top-

No, there are no upload or download limits imposed on your account, however your guests are restricted to a download quota of 50% of your VAULT size in a given 24 hour period.

For example, if you have a 100 MB VAULT your guests can download 50 MB per 24-hour period. Download Limits

Can I share files or folders with others?  -Top-

Yes, there are multiple ways of sharing files and folders with others and your guests are not required to have a bigVAULT account.

Can I change my user name after the account is created?  -Top-

No, the user name cannot be changed after the account is created.

How is my data stored at the bigVAULT data center?  -Top-

Before any data is transferred from your systems to the bigVAULT Data Center, your data is encrypted and compressed.

Your data resides on an industry-leading Storage Area Network that is based on the rapid retrieval capabilities of high-speed disk pools.

bigVAULT utilizes best of breed storage technologies that are based on SCSI and Fibre Channel disk subsystems.

This allows for the rapid recovery of Client data on an as needed basis.

I have a Guest Password. How do I login?  -Top-

On the home page, click ‘Guest Login’. Enter the VAULT name that you are visiting, and your assigned guest password, then click ‘Login’.
